8mm Fisheye

Sale price$89.00 USD

Turn any shot into a 200° world. This lens wraps the entire scene into one frame — the kind of stretched, spherical curvature that flat wide-angle shots can't touch.
Multi-coated glass keeps the image sharp and glare-free even at this extreme angle, and it focuses as close as 0.2x for creative close-ups, not just wide landscapes.

Universal Use: Works with all phones via the included clip.
Better Use: Pair with a Fotorgear Case for maximum stability and faster setup.

FAQs

The lens attaches to your phone's camera system and works with a wide range of smartphones. The T-Mount version is specifically designed for Fotorgear Retro Cases, which are available for iPhone and select Android flagship models. The universal clip version works with most smartphones on the market.

To be sure, check the product page for the complete compatibility list. If your phone's camera module is centered and not obstructed by an unusually thick case, the clip-on version should work without issues.

Yes — and the difference is optical, not digital. Your phone's zoom and portrait mode process the image with software, which loses detail and can look artificial around edges and hair. This lens uses real glass to physically change how light hits your sensor, so the effect (compression, bokeh, macro detail, wide field of view — depending on the lens) holds up at full resolution, with none of the software smoothing or artifacts.

No. Attach the clip to your phone, screw the lens onto the mount, and you're ready to shoot — most people are set up in under a minute.

We recommend using the Fotorgear Case for a more stable, precisely aligned connection, especially for longer focal lengths like the 400mm or an anamorphic lens.

Yes — that spherical curve is the point of a true fisheye lens. If you want a wide-angle without the curve, our 16mm Wide-Angle Lens is the better fit.

Both. It's especially popular for action footage — skating, POV clips — where the wide, immersive angle adds impact.

As a fisheye this lens offers a width not possible with the phone cameras. It is not one I use too often but for the tests I have take some images both on exterior and interior. The ons in daylight have been very good, it's a reasonable amount of curvature that I can correct by software. In the interior ones, with low light, I have found that this lens luminosity seems to be a bit low for such width, showing some chromatic aberrations. All in all I am satisfied with it for my purposes.
Other issue is the rubber cap on the attachment end is not good, it comes off all the time. Again is not a problem for me as I am printing inserts for my sling bag for these lenses but other users users might find it annoying.
