The Standard Kit includes the phone case and the Kevlar backplate — it protects your phone and lets you mount T-Mount lenses. But if you actually want to shoot with it, the Photography Kit is the better choice.
The Photography Kit adds the 67mm filter adapter, cold shoe mount, quick-release lanyard buckle, lanyard rings, and wrist strap. That means you can attach filters, a microphone, a light, or a strap right away — without buying extra parts later.
If you only need a protective case, the Standard Kit is fine. But if you want the full modular photography system from day one, most creators go straight for the Photography Kit. It saves you time and money, and it unlocks everything this case was designed to do.
